Teva 4198 Women's Zinnia Pink Grapefruit Mush Sandals are the most comfortable sandals you will ever wear. We know this is true because even our supervisor wears them. She refused to let us wear them to work – until we bought a pair for her. Now she wears them every day. It was easy to convince her, though.
It’s because of the Mush footbed. It doesn’t sound particularly technical, but it’s a little piece of heaven on the bottom of your feet. There’s 7mm of extra-soft EVA that molds to the shape of your foot. It’s almost indescribable.
These sandals have a bunch of different names, depending on where you come from. They’re flip-flops, zories, thongs and a ton of other names. Basically, they’re a comfortable sole that’s held on your foot by a Y-shaped strap. Their history is pretty neat. Originally, they came from Japan. Zories were just like the modern sandals but they were made with rice straw or wooden soles and brocade thongs. They weren’t the beach-going footwear, either. They were worn with a formal kimono. When soldiers returned from the South Pacific, they brought the sandals back with them.
