As you might have guessed, these are no average socks. Thorlo research has shown that acrylic is the best fabric for tight, enclosed areas (aka in your boots). It wicks away moisture from your feet, maintains its shape when wet and has excellent loft and resilience (not to mention it's soft and comfortable). The nylon helps the fabric form to your feet for a better fit while X-Static, a Thorlo favorite, is sewn into the foot area for permanent anti-microbial and anti-odor benefits. A little bit of spandex gives the socks some give for comfortable wear.
