They're a sensible 6-inches high, so they work in all kinds of environments where taller boots might be a bit too much. The black, full-grain leather uppers have non-woven nylon linings for better air movement. The footbeds are made of removable, dual-density polyurethane with Shock Zone technology to absorb the jarring impact that causes fatigue in lesser footwear. Cement construction gives them toughness that holds up to long wear. They also feature quick-release elastic gores plus sturdy pull straps so you can get them on and off in a hurry. The insole material is puncture-resistant. The composite toes meet ASTM F2413-05 M/I/75/C/75 standards and securely protect the foot while remaining lightweight. These boots are 100% non-metallic so they're suitable for work sites that have security alarms. They feature an Electrical Hazard rating and were tested for and meet the CAN/CSA-Z195 18,000 Volts Electrical Shock Resistance standard.
