These tall, all-black military boots are made with three tough materials: full-grain leather, Cordura nylon and action leather. Full-grain leather is left in its natural, cowhide state to deliver tough durability and weather-resistance. The action leather is flexible, to make steps smooth and easy. And the Cordura nylon is abrasion-resistant and airy, creating a breathable space for feet. Heavy-duty side zippers (with Velcro tab covers) mean you don't have to stage a military operation to get inside these boots.
The lining is made with heavy-duty Nylex, a lightweight but tough fabric material. The footbeds are made with pillow top softness. Made with contouring memory foam, the insoles mold and move to feet. Removable, the footbeds may be cleaned at any time.
Lightweight EVA foam has been compression-molded to create a light, cushioning midsole layer. Along with the gel heel inserts, the midsoles absorb painful force and compression that occurs with natural footsteps. Engineered composite shanks provide lift and support for feet and legs, reducing muscle strain and foot pain.
Cement construction holds the VGS 300 traction rubber outsoles in place. The traction rubber soles are slip-resisting, to provide confidence in every step.
