well made however break in is long and hard...
There a good made boot. By no way a Wesco or Nicks, however for half the price there made of strong leather and although there as tough as nails to break in once you do there comfortable. Come with strong high quality laces and are the size they claim. Perhaps a little long in length but after you break them in the're just right.
Some people cover there new boots in crap to soften the leather only to find it just destroys the life. Have 2 pairs and there not wearing out any time soon.
Might not be your first choice but these Thorogood boots are better than imported loggers or linesmans for the price.

Successfully tested in Russia even...
I do all to 'kill' this since 2011 during three winters and one summer in Moscow, Russia. The boots still keeps the very best conditions and provide exceptional support and comfort.
Tested from -30 Celcius to +25 Celcius with hard use like long walking through Russian fields and active games in the playground, on the ice and in the water - excellent comfort. You can trust this boots.
Perhaps, Chippewa or other pricey brands are offer some luxury fabric, with the higher price as well, but if you are looking for boots for hard work and highest comfort and durability (in other words, you care your corporate budget) you can't go wrong with this boots.

Well Made Boot...
By: L Q
Break in period is long, and I would suggest putting different insoles. I use Montail thermo-molded insoles in just about all my boots. These a really well made boot. Much nicer than buying any mainstream boot like Redwing. I have yet to were them on a large fire, but they have started to just break in after a month of wearing them every day. I believe these boots should last multiple years, at least thats what I hope.
