It all begins with the full-grain leather uppers. Natural, non-processed full-grain leather is flexible and durable. Oiled, the leather is resistant to weather, wind and rain.
The tumbled leather has a rich, pebbled look of texture and black accents that add fashionable flair. But you may never notice the outer details; you'll be busy loving what's inside. Airy spacer mesh lining keeps skin ventilated and cool. The insoles are made with shock-resistant polyurethane with soft EVA foam cushioning. The removable design makes the insoles easy to clean.
Made with compression-molded EVA, the midsoles have a core of Impact 300 gel for shock-absorption. Engineered composite shanks give feet support. The non-metallic material lifts arches, preventing muscle strain. Made with anti-roll bar heel support, these boots keep every step strong.
Goodyear storm welt construction was used to attach the two-layer, Gen Flex II dual-density rubber soles. The welt construction uses stitches to create a flexible, repairable bond. The slip-resistant tread helps you stay steady on dangerous, hazardous floors.
The soles are also rated for Electrical Hazard resistance. They'll absorb up to 600 volts of electricity, keeping you safer around hazards. These boots are also ESR rated, so they'll resist electrical shock buildup. The safety toes, made with non-metallic composite, are just as safe as steel and tested to meet ASTM F2413-05 M/I75/C75 standards. It's part of the 100% non-metallic, security-friendly construction.
