This is a good thing, because the rest of the family is between the ages of 2 and 9. These are tough boots and will hold up very well under all that stress and abuse.
Thorogood 834-6290 Commando II 6-Inch Side Zip Non-Waterproof Boots have combination black full grain action leather and 1200 Denier nylon uppers. They are lined with two-zone wicking mesh. When those kids get you all hot and sweaty, your feet will stay cool. The insole is a removable two density polyurethane "Shock Zone" insert with air flow vents. Imagine the comfort these inserts will provide while you are walking elderly folks to the mens' room! The lightweight composite shank provides stability and the sole is cemented directly to the boot for durable construction. The non-marking slip-resistant outsole is made from two density rubber with integrated EVA impact pads. These boots have non-metal construction and heavy duty YKK side zippers.
