Thorogood 804-4048 Men's Composite Toe Hiking Boots are just as safe and comfortable on the trail as off. The sturdy construction helps you maintain footing on factory room floors, while soft cushioning keeps you comfortable on rugged paths.

Tough pigskin leather was used to create the brown uppers. Pigskin is flexible and durable. . .and good enough to be used by the NFL (footballs). The leather is also waterproof, to keep your skin dry during even inclement weather. Moisture-wicking mesh material was used to line the inside of each boot, to pull sweat away from feet.

Compression-molded EVA foam was used in the midsole layer, creating a lightweight core of cushioning softness. Cement construction keeps the tough rubber outsoles in place. The black soles are made with attached toe bumpers to provide additional traction. Red accents on the laces give the boots a bright pop of color.

Thorogood 804-4048 Men's Composite Toe Hiking Boots are 100% non-metallic and metal detector-friendly. Rated for slip-resistance, the soles give you tough traction to keep you steady. Also rated for resistance to electrical hazards, these boots absorb up to 600 volts of electricity. They're approved to meet ANSI and ASTM I75 & C75 safety specifications. Made for hiking, made for work, owning these boots is like having two pairs of boots (or more) in one.
