Sometimes, leather can be a little unforgiving, a little stiff, a little too solid for real foot flex and comfort. That's why these Thorogood 804-6111 SoftStreets Men's Safety Toe Wellington Boots are still made of stern stuff, with some comfortable stuff mixed right in.
The soft, lace-free design of these black boots is achieved through a mixture of full-grain leather and 1000 denier Cordura nylon in the shafts. Supple, strong leather and soft, airy nylon give you the perfect mix of comfort, flex and durability - everything you need for the job.
Comfort weave lining inside surrounds your feet with softness, while Shock Zone inserts take care of impact. Made with two layers of lightweight polyurethane (more absorbent and lighter in weight than rubber), the footbeds are also removable for easy cleaning. Lightweight and non-metallic, the fiberglass shanks give you all the fatigue-fighting support you need.
Direct-injection construction joins the SoftStreets outsoles to the design. These non-marking, dual-density polyurethane soles are strongly supportive and slip-resistant to keep you steady. Oil-resistance prevents chemical corrosion.
The steel toes are ASTM F 2413-05 M/I/75/C/75-certified for your working safety. Electrical Hazard protection (which meets CAN/CSA-Z195 certification for safety against 18,000 volts) helps safeguard against open circuits.
