Made in the USA from the finest materials available, these handsome Work Boots from Thorogood will make any American proud. They're crafted from supple brown Tobacco Gladiator oil-tanned leather for the utmost durability and supple, instant comfort. The stylish, 8-inch design is built using Goodyear Storm Welt construction so they're tough enough to stand up to the rigors of the jobsite. Stitched rather than glued, Goodyear welted boots are not only strong, but fully repairable for years of added life. Triple stitched and riveted at key stress points, this pair is made tough.
And protective. ASTM-approved steel toes guard against impacts and other potentially foot-crushing hazards on the job.
The Slip Resistant dual-density polyurethane outsoles you'll find underfoot feature comfort soles and 90-degree heels for traction and support on a variety of surfaces. They're rated electrical hazard-resistant as well to keep your feet protected from shock in charged areas. Comfort Weave vamp lines the inside and works with removable, dual-density polyurethane Shock Zone inserts to keep you comfortable. The inserts absorb the shock created on impact to reduce foot and leg pain after long days toiling on the job. They even have air vents to keep you cool. Polyurethane midsoles and lightweight fiberglass shanks deliver additional arch and foot support to keep you easy on your feet even when the shifts are long.

“I have been an internet customer of many companies, but I have to say that my experience with The Working Person's Store has been the best I have ever encountered. About a month ago when I had a short time-frame to acquire some women's steel-toed boots, after numerous trips to many stores, I unfortunately found that such footwear is almost impossible to find, even in Metropolitan Washington/Baltimore. I was a little skeptical at first of your website, since I had never heard of it before, but you seemed to offer the widest selection and had all the brands and sizes to choose from in women's boots. With the short time-frame I had, I ordered 5 pairs, not knowing at all how the sizing ran or what the comfort of each would be. Since you advertised that you would accept returns on them, I ordered a bunch, knowing I would return all but one pair. Finally, after a second order in a smaller size of the boot I liked the best, I have a wonderful pair of boots. Your ordering process, return process, and refund process have been the best I have ever experienced in on-line stores. Thank you for your quality, speed of service, and easy-to-use web site. I was even more impressed when I recently received a hand-addressed envelope with my refund slip in it. Wow...
