When the military needs boots that can withstand just about anything, they call on Thorogood. The Thorogood 834-6218 6 Inch Waterproof Side Zip Military Boot is a stealthy soldier with black full-grain leather, action leather and 1200 Denier nylon upper. This combination of materials provides excellent durability and is sure to keep feet dry and safe under the harshest conditions. The YKK side zipper is heavy-duty but keeps with the non-metallic construction of this Military Boot.
The Thorogood 834-6218 Combat Boot has the Thoro-dri waterproof system which provides a barricade to keep moisture from seeping in. Feet stay dry but also safe from blood-borne pathogens. The lining is a two-zone wicking mesh. This lining plus the removable two-density polyurethane shock zone footbed with air flow vents are certain to keep feet cool while adding an absorbing cushion. These military boots have a composite shank for support of weary feet and tired arches.
Thorogood 834-6218 6 Inch Waterproof Side Zip Military Boots are built with a tough Cement Construction to keep it together and strong under the most unsavory conditions. They have a molded rubber heel stabilizer and a two-density rubber outsole with integrated EVA impact pads providing excellent stability and added comfort with shock absorption. They're probably not the best for cold weather and snow. I have had snow come in over the tops of them, but I guess that's why they make taller boots! Same with water, make sure you know how deep it is before stepping in!
I hope they are still in stock when I order again. WPS has the best price I've found!
