Constructed of premium, dark, chocolate-brown leather, the uppers are waterproof in and out. Leather is abrasion-, oil- and water-resistant, but these are also treated to make them waterproof. Lined with a waterproof membrane, water isn't getting into these boots. Step in a puddle, work in the rain, slog through mud and grass, and know that you're feet will be dry.
Inside, these hefty work boots have mesh lining with an Agion antimicrobial treatment. This provides you with odor control and comfortable feet. No more leaving your shoes outside on the porch just because they're so stinky. At the top of the boot, a padded top collar offers comfort and support.
The contoured, single-density, open-cell polyurethane footbed is comfortable and is also impregnated with Agion for even more odor control. A molded EVA midsole offers lightweight, cushioned comfort. Anti-Fatigue technology helps your feet feel sprightly by utilizing conical geometry in order to reduce shock and return energy from impact to your feet.
Timberland PRO Rubber Outsoles can't be beat. Made by Vibram, they're sturdy and rugged, able to take on extreme surfaces, and are slip-, heat-, oil-, and abrasion-resistant. The soles are also designed to be low profile, so they offer high surface contact for sure-footedness. They also have a technology called Ladder Lock outsole radius which makes them comfortable and offers you confidence on extension ladders.
The soles are attached to the uppers with cement construction. This results in flexibility and reduced break-in time. Other comfort features include an active heel lock lacing system that provides a secure heel set and gives you a personalized fit. A nylon shank in the sole gives structural support and added comfort.
