Leather is naturally resistant to water, oil and abrasions, but the special waterproofing that Timberland uses ensures that these White Ledge leather boots totally protect your feet while keeping themselves in great shape. To really make sure the shoes don't leak at all, these are seam-sealed for complete protection.

Comfortable hikers are a top priority when you're on the job or on the hiking trails. These Timberland Boots offer all-day comfort with dual-density EVA footbeds. In the case of shoe construction, dual-density means that some parts of the material are firmer than others. These EVA footbeds give you firm support in some areas and extra cushioning in others.
One reason to invest in Timberland is that these waterproof boots utilize the BSFP motion efficiency system. Utilizing active rubber lug, slip-resistant outsoles, it gives you excellent traction. BSFP technology is informed by the four motions your feet make while walking. The lugs on the soles are multi-directional, so you have great traction on varied terrains. This multi-directional feature helps you break, offers you support, aids you in flexing, and gives you forward-propelling energy as you walk.
In the backs of the waterproof hiking boots, external heel coverings protect the backs of your feet and shoes. Even if the guy behind you on the trail is up on your heels, these shoes have the toughness to resist scuffing and heavy abrasions.
When you need shoes that will last a long time, protect your feet, and cushion each step you take, choose wisely. Choose these Timberland Men's Black Mid-Height White Ledge Waterproof Hiking Boots 12122.

Don't let the name fool you....
I've never been a Timberland Pro boot fan, because they always had the reputation of being street shoes and really not meant for real outdoor enthusiasts. Timberland Pro has changed and these boots are actually a decent pair of hiking boots....first, any boots that are waterproof has won half the battle, second these are actually comfortable. I tried these in a half size larger and added my own insole for comfort.....perfect. I use these boots when I know the weather is going to be bad and when I'm out in the woods and need to keep my feet dry. Try these, you won't be disappointed.

Bought this boot 4 yrs ago fit perfectly. Purchased same boot 1.5 yrs ago had to take to shoe repair to have stretched and even after this was done, boot was still not comfortable as the first pair which I still wear because they are sooo comfortable. Not sure why they run so small. It's such a disappointment that things work so well has to change for whatever reason. My next pair I'll try ordering 1.5 size larger, maybe that will work. I do like boot for motorcycle riding, walking, or just working.
