The concentrated support in the arches and step-to-step cushioning gives you 24-hour comfort and durability. Look around a little more inside and you'll discover an astonishing new type of space-age Outlast sockliner, developed in conjunction with NASA for astronauts exposed to both bitter cold and scorching heat. This technology absorbs body heat in microcapsules called Thermocules, reducing moisture (since you won't have to sweat as much). This is the opposite of what traditional fabrics do, as they tend to trap heat. But here comes the incredible part: while continuously interacting with the microclimate around your foot and boot, this liner will release stored heat back to the body when it begins to chill or shiver, creating a "comfort zone" for your feet! It takes only 90 seconds for this stuff to adapt to the body, so you don't get either too hot or too cold. Temperature-wise, you won't even notice your boots!
Beyond comfort, the 33032 is loaded with superior safety features. This Timberland Pit Boss is tested against open circuits and built to defend against currents up to 600 volts making this work boot ANSI certified electrical hazard rated footwear. The steel toe is nationally rated and will protect you from 25,000 pounds of compression (think sleepy forklift drivers) and impact from falling objects up to 50 pounds being dropped from a height of eighteen inches.
The sole of this 6" work boot is oil and slip resistant allowing you to go anywhere and do anything. Goodyear welt construction also makes this sole repairable, extending the life of the product.
