Timberland PRO Boots: Men's 91607 Helix EH Waterproof Composite Toe Boots
We're vulnerable creatures, and we're made up of stuff that breaks down and wears away over time. These Timberland PRO Men's 91607 Helix EH Brown Insulated Waterproof Composite Toe Boots are built to be strong, and protect you from all that stuff that wants to break you down. These waterproof boots won't make you immortal or anything, but they will improve every step you take.
These Timberland PRO boots have a singular style that makes your steps nice to look at, too. It never hurts to have bold stitching decorating your handsome, distressed leather. What does hurt is water. That's why this leather has an oiled finish for improved water-resistance and flexibility. The premium waterproof leather stays soft around your steps, even in the rain, and keeps on moving with you. Life's hard, but your steps don't have to be, especially when you wear these Helix boots.
It's very easy to enjoy stepping when you're staying dry. That's why these safety toe boots are built with a waterproof membrane to give you another level of wet weather protection. The lightweight, thin membranes of these waterproof boots keep moisture out because moisture definitely doesn't belong in there with your feet.
Yeah, these slip-resistant boots are tough against weather, but they aren't tough against your feet. Even the top collars are padded to give your ankles cushioning, and the Anti-Fatigue Technology keeps everything feeling good everywhere else when you wear these insulated boots. The technology uses conical geometry in the midsole layer to absorb painful stepping shock and return energy back to your feet. Those midsoles are made with lightweight, impact-absorbent polyurethane to take the pain out of every step. Molded EVA foam was used in the midsole layer of these oil-resistant boots as well to add airy, lightweight shock-absorption to the design.
Durable cast metal hardware in these men's boots keeps the lacing system in place. The active heel lock lacing system keeps your heel secure and well-positioned to give you a more comfortable, customized fit all over. These EH boots feature the PowerFit Comfort System and come with Timberland PRO's 30-Day Comfort Guarantee.
To keep that fit cushioning all over, you'll find contoured footbeds inside of these safety toe boots. Made with single-density, open-cell polyurethane, the footbeds absorb force so your feet won't. The lightweight polyurethane is covered with an antimicrobial fabric that kills odor-causing bacteria. The lining inside these insulated boots is made with more antimicrobial material to keep your feet dry.
Lightweight nylon was used to make the shanks that give your steps structural support. The shanks of these brown boots lift your arches and keep muscles supported, and that prevents foot pain. What else causes foot pain? Cold weather. That's why you'll also find non-bulky, 400 gram weight insulation inside these Timberland PRO work boots.
Cement construction keeps the Timberland Pro rubber outsoles in place. Glued cement construction creates a weathertight bond around the base of your steps and keeps the soles flexible and comfortable under your feet. The rubber outsoles are made with shock-resistant rubber to put a bounce in your steps.
Thanks to the slip-resistant tread and Ladder Lock outsole radius, your steps will be steadier and safer when you wear these Helix boots. The soles are made with a low profile tread design to give you high surface contact. Oil- and abrasion-resistance keeps the soles strong in any industrial environment. These brown boots also offer electrical hazard protection, keeping you safe from open circuits.
Shaped on a roomy TiTAN last, the composite safety toes protect the tender parts of your feet from dangerous impact and compression when you wear these oil-resistant boots. The non-metallic toe caps meet ASTMF 2413-05 standards for protective footwear, but they're lighter in weight than steel. Composite won't conduct electricity like steel will, but it protects your feet with the same tenacity. These antimicrobial boots are so tenacious, they're even made with the Timberland double toe design for added durability.
Timberland PRO 91607 Helix EH Brown Insulated Waterproof Composite Toe Men's Boots protect your tender feet. Because let's face it, they're pretty vulnerable without strong footwear.

Comfortable and dry all day long....
By: John Cooney
Very comfortable over a variety of terrains. Did well on concrete floors and muddy fields. Not cold enough to review how warm they are, but they feel like they will be warm enough for me. Since moving from steel toe boots to composite toes, I'll never go back to steel toes again. Between the light weight and anti fatigue footbeds my legs never tire out. Will buy these boots again.

Good comfy boots...
Had been wearing these for about 3 months now. I work outdoors all day long, regardless rain or shine. These boots keep my feet comfortable all day and they provide good waterproofing. The boots are of average weight, I didn't find them to heavy, the composite toe played a big part. I do suggest drying the boots and spraying a leather conditioner or water repellent spray to extend the life of waterproofing. These boots keep you warm to about 0'C, anything lower and you might wanna try wearing thicker socks or buying different boots. Overall good boots for the value

Decent quality and performance...
By: John M
I had a similar boot 2 years ago, but they were the 6" version and not waterproof. They did break in a bit longer than I would have expected (1 week to feel very comfortable), but I have been wearing them every work day for the last 2 weeks. My feet have stayed dry for the couple times that I was in the rain and puddles. The soles were a bit harder than I anticipated, but it seems that might be a good thing thinking of durability. My soles on my last pair of Timberlands did not pass the test of time. I also like the less aggressive tread pattern as it won't hold the mud as well. They are insulated, but not too warm in 70 degree weather and I always wear wool blend socks. To recap, decent boots, but just a bit of a harder sole than expected.
