Using tumbled full-grain leather, the upper of these Timberland PRO boots is seam-sealed for durability and dry, comfortable feet. Full-grain leather is used primarily in footwear designed for extended trips, heavy loads, and hard terrain since it's extremely water-resistant, durable, and supportive. Leather is capable of absorbing up to 30% of its weight in water vapor without loss of dryness. The seams of these waterproof boots are sealed with rubber cement and non-absorbing, nylon thread is used in the stitching to ensure you stay dry. To safeguard you from unfortunate accidents, a composite safety toe is shaped onto a TiTAN last shape for non-metallic protection and a superior fit when you wear these insulated boots. The protective shell is made by combining molded polymer composite technology with unique ballistic mesh for extra strength. Compliant with ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH safety standards, these composite toe boots can endure up to 75 pounds of impact and 2500 pounds of compression.

Dual-density Dynamic Anti-Fatigue Technology absorbs shock, while providing enhanced moisture management for all-day comfort. The technology in these slip-resistant boots uses molded, inverted cones which support, collapse and return energy in key pressure zones, helping to reduce foot fatigue.
The Timberland PRO thermal plastic urethane outsole is oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant. It's been tested for volume swell using EN345 TMP ASTM fuel A 7 Diesel ISO 1817 liquid F for 22 hours and ASTM IRM903 and Fuel B for 46 hours. TPU bridges the gap between flexible rubbers and rigid plastics. It has high tensile, compressive, and tear strength as well as good flexibility over a wide range of temperatures.
Direct-inject construction was utilized to attach this TPU outsole to the leather upper of these tan boots. This type of construction produces a tough, watertight bond as well as lightweight and flexible footwear.

These are Very Nice Work Boots for the Price!...
I bought these Timberland Boots several years ago and I never had a single problem with them. They lasted me for a long time and I wore the soles down to where they were completely smooth, and the Soles had still never seperated from the Uppers. These are a great pair of Boots that have a lot of extra features for the money, so I'm really quite surprised that there isn't more reviews on these Boots. First of all, they are Composite Toe (not Steel Toe), so they are a bit lighter Boot due to that. They are Waterproof, they are Insulated with 200 grams of Thinsulate, and they are also Anti Microbial too. Most Boots with all those features generally cost considerably more. These Boots seem to run true to size, and once they are broke-in they are a very comfortable Boot. The only thing I would prefer was different about these particular Boots, is that they had Rubber Soles instead of the Polyurethane Soles that they have. Other than that, I Loved the Boots, and now that I've found them here at the WorkingPerson Site, I'm seriously thinking about ordering me another pair of them. Definitely recommend these Boots to others!
