Timberland PRO Boots: Men's Composite Toe A121H 231 Insulated EH Resistor Work Boots
This pair of Timberland Pro A121H 231 Men's Tan Resistor EH Insulated Composite Toe Work Boots is the original classic, all-purpose work boot. Seam-sealed waterproof construction and a dynamic anti-fatigue insole give this men's boot the performance needed to excel at the job site.
Using tumbled full-grain leather, the upper of these Timberland PRO boots is seam-sealed for durability and dry, comfortable feet. Full-grain leather is used primarily in footwear designed for extended trips, heavy loads, and hard terrain since it's extremely water-resistant, durable, and supportive. Leather is capable of absorbing up to 30% of its weight in water vapor without loss of dryness. The seams of these waterproof boots are sealed with rubber cement and non-absorbing, nylon thread is used in the stitching to ensure you stay dry. If properly maintained, these top-quality, EH boots will provide long-lasting service.
To safeguard you from unfortunate accidents, a composite safety toe is shaped onto a TiTAN last shape for non-metallic protection and a superior fit when you wear these insulated boots. The protective shell is made by combining molded polymer composite technology with unique ballistic mesh for extra strength. Compliant with ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH safety standards, these composite toe boots can endure up to 75 pounds of impact and 2500 pounds of compression.
You'll also be provided with a secondary source of electric shock-resistance protection. EH-rated footwear is designed with special heel and sole materials to provide extra protection against accidental contact with live electrical circuits, electrically-energized conductors, parts, or apparatus. As a result, these safety toe boots meet ANSI Z41PT99, ASTM F2412-11, ASTM 2413-11 and F2892-11 standards to provide protection from open circuits.
A lightweight polyurethane midsole provides flexibility and cushioning when you wear these men's boots. The foamed structure contains tiny air bubbles which makes the material lightweight and flexible. PU will even remain flexible at extreme temperatures as low as -30° C, when rubber and PVC tend to break.
Inside these Resistor boots, the mesh lining with an antimicrobial treatment provides odor control and comfortable feet. While the mesh lining allows air to circulate to keep your feet fresh, the antimicrobial lining will keep your feet smelling fresh. In addition, the inside of these Timberland PRO boots is lined with 200g Thermolilte insulation to provide the warmth you need when it's cold outside. This hollow-core fiber technology offers the most warmth at the lightest weight. Moisture is pulled away from the skin to the surface of the fabric where it can evaporate more quickly. As a result, it dries 20% faster than other insulating fabrics and 50% faster than cotton, keeping you drier and more comfortable throughout the day. Thermolilte also features tiny microfibers blown to form a high-density web, providing an increased surface area to efficiently trap air for insulation.
Dual-density Dynamic Anti-Fatigue Technology absorbs shock, while providing enhanced moisture management for all-day comfort. The technology in these slip-resistant boots uses molded, inverted cones which support, collapse and return energy in key pressure zones, helping to reduce foot fatigue.
The Timberland PRO thermal plastic urethane outsole is oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant. It's been tested for volume swell using EN345 TMP ASTM fuel A 7 Diesel ISO 1817 liquid F for 22 hours and ASTM IRM903 and Fuel B for 46 hours. TPU bridges the gap between flexible rubbers and rigid plastics. It has high tensile, compressive, and tear strength as well as good flexibility over a wide range of temperatures.
Direct-inject construction was utilized to attach this TPU outsole to the leather upper of these tan boots. This type of construction produces a tough, watertight bond as well as lightweight and flexible footwear.
The nylon shock-diffusion plate provides support and torsional rigidity. It helps with arch support since it forces the appropriate break at the ball of your foot.
Enhancing fit and comfort, these Timberland PRO A121H 231 Men's Tan Resistor EH Insulated Composite Toe Work Boots also feature a padded top collar for comfort. The collar will also help to keep debris, sticks, and stones out of the footwear. With so much to offer, these all-purpose work boots is ideal for any job. Why not order yourself a pair today?

These are Very Nice Work Boots for the Price!...
I bought these Timberland Boots several years ago and I never had a single problem with them. They lasted me for a long time and I wore the soles down to where they were completely smooth, and the Soles had still never seperated from the Uppers. These are a great pair of Boots that have a lot of extra features for the money, so I'm really quite surprised that there isn't more reviews on these Boots. First of all, they are Composite Toe (not Steel Toe), so they are a bit lighter Boot due to that. They are Waterproof, they are Insulated with 200 grams of Thinsulate, and they are also Anti Microbial too. Most Boots with all those features generally cost considerably more. These Boots seem to run true to size, and once they are broke-in they are a very comfortable Boot. The only thing I would prefer was different about these particular Boots, is that they had Rubber Soles instead of the Polyurethane Soles that they have. Other than that, I Loved the Boots, and now that I've found them here at the WorkingPerson Site, I'm seriously thinking about ordering me another pair of them. Definitely recommend these Boots to others!

You cant beat these...
By: Barry R Sitko
I work aircraft maintenance on a flight line, so I'm on my feet on asphalt and concrete all day. I've tried numerous different shoes and these have them all beat. I'm getting ready to order my 3rd pair after about 12 years. The first pair was steel and these are a bit lighter. They hold up great considering all the abuse they take. They are very warm in the winter even without thick socks and also surprisingly comfortable in the summer. I'm at a point where I don't even try any others because I like these so much. This is a great Timberland PRO shoe. I highly recommend it.
