These low-cut Timberland PRO shoes are carefully constructed with full-grain brown leather, flexible and durable enough to support every step. The leather is attached to Timberland Pro rubber outsoles with cement construction that seals the two together in a stable bond. Treated with Agion, the antimicrobial inner lining of these steel toe shoes resists the build up of bacteria. I'm a big fan of Timberland boots and shoes. I have a very short foot, wide in the toes and the wide size fits perfectly. I like my shoes "roomy" where the steel toe is and these fit the bill. They were very comfortable from day 1. I work in both an office and oil tank farm setting. I don't believe these are billed as "waterproof" but I have been through some water and snow the last few days and my feet stayed dry. That was a nice surprise. I usually purchase the 53359 style boot but went with the shoe style this time. It seems to be the same leather, sole and fit as the boot. Very nice and I will buy again.
