It's covered with a DuraBlast coating that's engineered specifically for hydroblasting applications. An open weave polyester scrim fabric that's encased in two layers of flame-resistant PVC gives the jacket extremely high tear strength. The coating on the outside is very thick to provide excellent abrasion resistance. Inside, a thinker layer of coating protects the fabric from chemical contamination, but makes the jacket a little lighter.
Protect yourself from chemicals and fire with this coat. Therm-O-Rad sealed seam construction provides additional splash protection. And as far as flame-resistance goes, this jacket is self-extinguishing with flameout and afterglow less than 2 seconds after the removal of the ignition source (ASTM D6413).
If the PVC and sealed seams aren't enough, and your job's just that wet, hook and loop closures on the front seal out even more moisture. If you've got hydroblasting or powerwashing to do, this is the coat to do it in.
