Cold weather up north has us at Working Person's Store dreaming of hot summer days. Sure, we love to suit up in winter clothes and hike through the still woods, or jump on the snowmobile and roar over the trails, but we miss summer. At night, we find ourselves dreaming of vacations to all points south of the border. And in these dreams, we pack light. These desert sand Under Armour shorts work like a dream for all sorts of outdoor activities. They're made of quick-drying, ripstop Nylon (100% nylon) that's ultra durable. You don't have to worry about these Guide Shorts tearing to shreds as you hike over extreme terrain, scoot down rocky crevasses into unexplored caves, or raft through class-4 rapids. A 9.5-inch inseam is long enough for real comfort when you're walking, but also keeps you cool
These Under Armour work shorts have a signature moisture transport system keeps you dry and comfortable no matter what you do in them. If they get wet, they dry quickly, and if you sweat all day, they keep you dry and cool. With strategic vent zones throughout the Ripstop shorts, they enable your body to get rid of heat at key hot spots. The waist and crotch in particular are places where your body gets quite warm, but these UA shorts vent well to keep you comfortable.
A day spent in hot sunlight can make for an uncomfortable night. These men's cargo shorts offer UPF of 50+ to protect your skin from harmful solar rays. Slather on the sunscreen and throw on a pair of Guide III shorts, and even your dermatologist will agree that you're doing your best to protect your skin.
For long days out in nature, you need plenty of pockets for supplies. Stow lots of gear in these Under Armour shorts' 7 pockets. A plier pocket gives you room for tools and keeps them from spilling out of these cargo short.

Buy these shorts if you'll use them....
As my title says, I would only consider buying these if you plan to use them, and use them well. My brother-in-law swears by them for everyday use, but I just don't find them comfortable enough--their nylon composition doesn't feel nearly as good against the skin as my old cotton Wranglers do. That said, he does his fair share of hiking and they have yet to rip on him, just a mar here and there from serious abuse. As all shorts go, these obviously aren't warm, but if you plan to use them as advertised then pounce now!
