Viking VW69 Men’s Orange Timberwolf Chainsaw Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boots are made from rubber and ballistic nylon. Ballistic nylon was developed during World War II to protect soldiers from flying debris – now it’ll protect you. These work boots have the highest chainsaw rating – CE Class 3. They also meet CSA standards for Green Tree chainsaw protection, shock-resistance and steel toes.
They’re serious boots and are perfect for logging and other dangerous outside work. The bright orange color and safety stripes make you stand out in a crowd. If you’re using a chainsaw, you want to make sure people notice you. They lace in the back for additional safety. Inside there’s a hard-working heavy cotton lining. There’s also built-in protection for your Achilles tendon, ankle and metatarsal area.
The hardened outsoles are caulked. This kind of caulking isn’t for weatherizing a window. It means there are metal nails in the hardened-leather outsoles. The 26 caulks (pronounced corks) give extreme traction and are replaceable.
