Viking made this jacket fully waterproof and comfortable. It's not a rubber raincoat--it has an H.D. 4200 Nylon, hooded shell and full-mesh lining to keep you dry and comfortable. Large vents on the front and back help with circulation as well, promoting good air flow. The zipper is covered with a broad storm flap to ensure that wind-blown water doesn't get through the zipper. A fleece-lined collar prevents the zipper from irritating your neck. The brass snaps on the coat are chrome plated for durability.
