The Wigwam F1082 White Avenger crew socks are made out of 72% polyester,12% Cotton, 11% stretch nylon and 5% elastic. If you looked at a dri-release fiber in cross-section (and doesn't everybody?), you'd see a double-scallop shape that translates into 20% more surface area than the average fiber. This allows water (read: sweat) to spread over a larger area of the fabric so it evaporates more quickly. The cotton is soft and breathable, the nylon adds durability without weight. The cushioned sole protects the foot from impact and constant pressure. There is a welt top for smooth comfort and a smooth looped toe seam.
