Someone in the office got a pair of these Wiley X 856 Unisex Metallic Black Brick LA Sunglasses. They've got light-adjusting smoke lenses that actually change depending on the available light. We think one of the kids (the kids are our employees who don’t remember who the Beatles were) in the office got the description right in just one word – Smokin’. It’s not just the lenses he was referring to. These sunglasses are pretty intense. They’re even ASTM certified for high impact. They look incredible. Every time we looked around the office, a different kid was wearing them.
They’re made with a heat-resistant material that doesn’t care if you leave them on the car’s dashboard during the midday heat. The lenses are made with Selenite polycarbonate. They’re also coated to keep them from getting scratched when you drop them on the pavement. The anti-fog treatment keeps you from having to try to peer through a veil of fog. Very tough. Very well designed.
They’ve got this removable cavity seal that’s amazing. It protects your eyes from wind and sun getting in around the frames. It also keeps moisture in when you’re in a dry climate. It has a 90-degree wrap-back to let you use your peripheral vision – it gets rid of that tunnel vision you get with some sunglasses.
Like all of their products, the Wiley X 856 Unisex Metallic Black Brick LA Sunglasses grip your head and stay in place. They come with a strap in case you’re prone to ride bone-jarring roller coasters. The frames can be used with prescription lenses. But wait, there’s more! They also come with a semi-hard case and an extra cavity seal!
