Wolverine 2073 Men's Black and Grey Steel Toe Athletic Hiker Shoes are made with split-suede leather and mesh uppers. The low-cut work shoes have ASTM-rated steel toes and are static dissipative. The engineers at Wolverine have figured out how to reduce the weight of these shoes. They know that by making them lighter, your feet will feel better at the end of the day.
The mesh used for the uppers is lightweight and durable. The cement construction and fiberglass shanks lighten the load even more. The shanks are only 75% of the weight of steel shanks, and they still provide the support and alignment your feet need. The full-cushion footbed is removable for cleaning or replacing. You’ll get extra comfort with the compression molded EVA foam midsole – that means more comfort with the lightweight cushion.
