Wolverine 5634 Men's 8-inch Buckeye black Aluminum Toe Gore-Tex Logger Work Boots will have you wearing a plaid flannel shirt and suspenders while eating a bowl of grits as you think of the hard day ahead of you. Fortunately (grits can only take you so far), you'll take comfort that your feet will stand up to the rough work you do, even if you're not a logger. ASTM EAA aluminum safety toes will at least protect you from those falling objects aiming to crush a few small foot bones.
These no-nonsense Wolverine boots have full-grain leather uppers that are water-resistant, durable, and supportive. The Gore-Tex Waterproof membrane linings, when combined with breathable leathers, create a waterproof boot that lets moisture vapor out, but, amazingly, no water in. Result? Warm, dry, and comfortable feet. These logger boots are guaranteed to be waterproof for one year. The removable, full-cushion insole provides a soft landing every time you take a step.
The Vibram (a rubber compound that is highly resilient and durable) Rubber lug outsoles on these Wolverine Buckeye boots maximize traction and reduce shock upon foot strike and reduces foot fatigue. The Goodyear welt construction allows a contoured fit that is moisture- and chemical-resistant, while being easy to repair, should you need new soles. This type of construction stitches the upper, lining, and sole together, creating a single unit for added durability and the best lateral stability of all safety boots. They are also non-marking, oil- and slip-resistant. In addition, the steel shank helps with arch support.
The Wolverine 5634 men's 8-inch Buckeye black Aluminum toe Gore-Tex Logger Boots may seem like a tall tale, but believe us when we say these are truly rugged safety toe boots that will make your workday almost as easy as eating your grits. Click on the old cart and make it happen.

By: Muskeedine Pete
I met Bigfoot once...made a sound I wouldn't want to hear twice in my life. It was in the Cascades and I was wearing my new Wolverine Buckeyes with the steel toe. Just about first light when I heard the sound. Then as I whirled around he was standing not three feet from me and the look in his eyes chilled me to the bone. What was I to do? As quick as a wink Bigfoot reached for me and with no time to think I put my new Wolverines to good use and nutted the bastard with one swift kick. Steel toes. Down he went on both knees. I looked at him in both eyes. Tears welled up in his eyes and I though for sure he was going to get sick all over my new boots. I grab my gear and was gone before Bigfoot was anywhere close to getting up. He'll think twice before messing with me or my Buckeyes again.

I was originally looking for a pair of Carolinas to replace my last pair but couldn't find the ones I wanted anywhere, that's when I found these Wolverines! These boots are great! The Gore-Tex is guaranteed waterproof for a year and that is pretty sweet! Also, the toes in these boots are nice and roomy! The leather is soft and they don't need much of a break in period. I also wanted a boot with the Vibram sole, and these have them. Basically these boots have it all and are more comfortable than my Carolinas were. Can't beat the price either. Retail these are over $200, I got them here on sale for $148, but even the regular $178 price isn't bad. Overall I highly recommend these boots to anyone that is looking! You won't be disappointed.

Ive had a lot of boots and its hard to get a pair that keeps my feet dry. These boots do a great job. I have stood in creeks and my feet never got wet. They break in easy and are very comfortable. Since I got these boots my Dad and Uncle have both bought them and like them also. My Dad just put in an order for his second pair to ride motorcycle in. Both my Dad and Uncle are loggers and are on their feet in the hills all day.
I think these boots are a cheap hidden secret compared to the expesive big name boots
Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company.
I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North.
Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped.
Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
