Wolverine Boots: 4764 Cold Weather Insulated Steel Toe Boots

You work in the rain, you work at night, putting in overtime in the freezing cold to put food on the table and earn that mighty paycheck. Your job is demanding and often dangerous. More than a few good men have buckled under the pressure, but you have the spirit of the Wolverine. You take up the challenge and use every advantage. Made with high-performance full grain leather uppers with lightweight and abrasion-resistant 1,000 Denier Cordura panels on the shaft, these boots will provide a durable shield against whatever you come into contact with on a daily basis. The steel toe will protect you from dangers on the job as well. The shank is there for support while the classic Goodyear Welt construction ensures durable, reliable shoes that will last through tough conditions and protect you from tripping over a flapping sole. The dual density rubber outsoles are aggressively treaded, non-marking, oil- and slip- resistant for the traction you need in every situation, especially working outside on uneven terrain.

Loaded with 1200 Gram Thinsulate insulation, these boots will protect you from the cold while the waterproof Gore-Tex lining is guaranteed to keep you dry and comfortable for at least one full year. Not for me...
By:
Look, I am just here to help, and not to bash Wolverine's products.
If this is your first pair of boots and have nothing to compare them to, then they wouldn't seem too bad.
On the contrary, if you are an experienced field worker and know what the elements can do to your feet on the job or even off the job then trust my advice.
These are not your pair.
I've been wearing a pair of Chippewa Loggers for about 4 years. Wore them to death and loved them but I decided to try something different.
Went for these wolverines.
Put them on and they seemed comfortable.
Walked around the job site for the day (45F) and feet felt cold.
Also, took a good look at the stitching and making of the boot and it just doesn't compare to a better quality boot.
They are quite comfortable but I won't hold onto them long enough to find out what happens to them.
If you want a steel shank at the bottom these aren't your pair either.
You can actually bend the sole of the boot like a tennis shoe.
Stay away, make wolverine produce better boots.

Not bad......

The insulated boots will keep your feet warm, but don't expect them to last more than a year or two. The soles come off of the boot when the stitching wears out. Had mine for a year and the stitching came loose; wore them another year after nailing and wiring the sole to the boot.

I just purchased my 1st pair of wolverine work boots. I had heard that these boots were a real good boot and I will find out. I buy these boots from that are suppose to be good but don't last no time before I have to throw them away. I hope what I've been told is true most of the time the boots I buy at retail stores don't last but about 3 months before the soles come off and have to be threw away. For now you have a five star rating but believe me I will put the boots to the test and then i can tell you more.

Excellent boots. Very comfortable, warm, and truly waterproof.

I drive a concrete mixer, so I usually have a problem with my feet being wet and cold. My feet also perspire quite a bit in all temps, and that makes it that much worse. These boots solve all the problems, fall through spring.

I was worried that these may be overinsulated, but I have worn them in temps as high as 50F and my feet have not been too warm.

These are one of the best pairs of boots I have ever worn. They're a bit expensive, but really worth every penny.

Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!

I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company. I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning. This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North. Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped. Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
