Made with a full grain leather/Cordura upper, the Wolverine Big Horn boot is also made with a Cambrelle Gore-Tex waterproof membrane lining that gives you rapid moisture release as well as being an abrasion-resistant fabric. This boot has a full-cushion insole that is removable, nylon shank, and is made with a 600 gram Thinsulate insulation, making it a breathable boot that removes moisture and retains warmth next to your feet in very cold conditions. With a composite toe that meets the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Z41 PT91 MI/75 C/75 standards, you can be sure that the Wolverine Big Horn boot will withstand accidental impacts and compressions that you may encounter. They are also rated for electrical hazards, providing you with protection against open circuits up to 600 volts in dry conditions. The rubber soles are made with a Goodyear welt,and are moisture-, oil-, and chemical- resistant. We realize traction is important, so these soles are also slip-resistant.

The one thing that I did not like about these boots was that the soles wore completely off after just four months. It cost me $86 to re-sole them. This is not the first time that I have had this problem with Wolverines.
