These boots will stay dry inside and out. Flexible, full-grain leather uppers have been specially treated to keep water o-u-t. But that doesn't mean it gets too hot inside the boot. The wave mesh lining ensures air circulation to keep things temperate. Wolverine's patented welt construction gives the flexibility of a tennis shoe with the durability and support of a Work Boot. The rubber lug outsoles are slip, oil and abrasion-resistant. (We're not sure about rum resistance, however.) Your feet will stay safer thanks to the ASTM-rated steel toes. So even if a First-Mate drops a cannon ball on your foot, your toes will not be crushed. They're ASTM Electrical Hazard rated, too, for more protection.
