The outsoles are made with shock-resistant polyurethane, material that’s lighter than rubber despite its heightened impact-absorbance. Wolverine's heat-resistant boots have been tested and are heat resistant up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit (500 degrees Celsius) and meet NFPA 1971:2000, Clause 8.8. Wolverine Electrical Hazard footwear has been tested and is rated as ASTM F2413-05 1/75 EH. Electrical hazard construction protects the
wearer from open circuits, prefect for a pair of work boots.
