The upper on this steel toe shoe is made out of a material called Nytek which is a specially engineered nylon fiber matrix that has water resistant properties, but is as breathable as leather. Nytek has the elegant appearance and touch of leather with the durability and inherent stain resistance achieved through advanced technology.
Carolina's AEROGRIP outsole tread is a premium compound of slip and oil-resistant rubber that makes for one of the most slip-resistant soles available. The AEROGRIP soles are not slip proof, but their grip when tested under extreme conditions are exceptional.
