I have had them for under a year and so far they fit great, are light and very comfortable. Durability wise , I can't say just yet but so far so good. I do not hike really, but I am on my feet enough to tell if these are making the grade and so far they have. The leather is flexible, not too stiff and if you wear orthodics, there is room for them too.
