Some things you just can't trust to airport baggage handlers. The Filson 73008 341 Otter Green Medium Passage Dispatch Bag is standard carry-on size, so you can keep it with you on the flight, through the airport...the entire time you're traveling.
The otter green fabric is 16.4 ounce, 100% 1050 nylon twill fabric. Abrasion-resistant nylon is lightweight but durable, made to stand strong against tears and damage. The 3 x 2 polyurethane coating adds water- and weather-resistance. Inside, the entire bag is lined with tough nylon riptstop lining, which is made to stop tears and rips when they start. Brown leather trim adds stylish detail to enhance the look of the bag.
Measuring 15 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches high by 4 1/2 inches deep, this bag is small enough to act as a carry-on but big enough to hold most standard laptops. Just slide your machine inside the main interior pocket, which is laptop compatible, and you're ready to go. The bottom and sides of this bag are reinforced with leather to help hold all your gear . . . even the heavy stuff.
Speaking of stuff, this bag has two side pockets, three front pockets and one rear pocket, plenty of room for all your items. The side pockets are open for easy access. A key clip is found on one of the front zippered pockets, giving you a convenient place to store your easy-to-lose keyrings. Secure the large pullover flap, which has a double-buckle closure, to protect everything.
