This blue band easily hooks into your hard hat for a double dose of cooling action. One side of the band is cotton terry cloth and can be used to absorb perspiration off of your forehead and prevent sweat from getting into your eyes. The other side is a cotton layer that allows the encased Cooling Crystals to do their job. These Crystals absorb cool water when immersed in it before work and carry that coolness to your body, which feels great on hot, sticky days. The OccuNomix Navy Blue Band is machine washable but, unlike other brands, you don't have to wash it before wearing it to enjoy its absorbent effects.
