The high-efficiency SureFire LED light is virtually immune to failure. There's no filament to burn out or break and the light has two output levels: brilliant and low. The brilliant light setting provides a perfectly pre-focused 200-lumen beam. The low setting offers a 15-lumen low output setting. The lower setting lets you greatly extend the runtime per set of batteries. This could come in handy if you need to preserve light when you don't have any spare batteries.
The SurFire Flashlight is easy to adjust with a press-on tailcap switch that gives you a momentary-on low setting as well as a constant-on low setting which can be switched with a simple click. If you click it again you can adjust the light to a high output setting.
The body of the light is made with sturdy Nitrolon polymer. The black flashlight is smoothly sculpted to give you a comfortable grip. The flashlight body also resists scratches, abrasion, and corrosion.
A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector gives you a comparatively wider beam and generous peripheral light. A weatherproof O-ring provides gasket-sealed protection to keep the flashlight protected from the weather. The flashlight includes high-energy 123A batteries with a 10-year shelf life.
