Throughout the year, Benchmade makes limited production versions of select models of their knives for fans who collect them. This is a specially forged steel is made up of layers of a variety of steels for outstanding toughness and edge quality. The unique pattern comes from the surface lines that are exposed through an acid etch, which creates a unique visual effect. It has a hardness of 58-60HRC. The titanium monolock handle features contoured and hand-blended black carbon fiber inlays. It's a reliable mechanism that rates highly for strength and function.
