The Petzl L71 20 ASAP'Sorber Energy Absorber With Integrated Lanyard is designed to connect the Petzl ASAP mobile fall arrester to a harness. In the event of an accident the energy generated from a fall is absorbed by the tearing of specifically designed stitching. This is the 20cm version but to ensure the best compromise between distance from the rope and the height of the fall there is also a 40cm version available.
The terminations are equipped with a STRING which serves a dual function, to protect he connector attachment loop from abrasion between it and the wearer and to allow the connector to be held in the strongest, the major axis, position.

“I just spoke to your customer service rep Hope and wanted to tell you what a great job she is doing! I had a issue with an order that I placed that was put on back order and subsequently cancelled by another rep. She informed me by email that my order for my Tactical pants were canceled. I never asked that they be canceled but this other rep took it upon herself to cancel it. I was upset to hear that the easy way out was to cancel my order. I was fortunate to get Hope as a contact when I had to call about this order. She was great in not only finding my (cancelled) order but finding the same pants hanging on a rack in your store!
