This Radians Strike Force II Smoke Safety Eyewear E8650-S is great for protecting your eyes from those glaringly sunny days. The smoke-colored lens provides maximum glare reduction and is ideal for applications where eye strain is a major factor. These glasses allow approximately 16% visible light transmission, but show objects true to natural color and flatten light to maintain normal depth perception.
The 7 base lens comes standard with a hard coating to discourage scratches that can blur your view. This contemporary-looking wraparound lens conforms to the latest (2003) ANSI Z87.1+ standards, so you can feel confident about protection regarding impact resistance, penetration resistance, ignition and flammability resistance, lens thickness, prismatic deviation, haze, luminous transmittance, corrosion, and more. On top of this, the lens is treated to minimize fogging, and filters out 99% of harmful UVA and UVB rays.
Another advantage of this product is how it minimizes the chance of your glasses sliding down your face. The Strike Force II sports sleek bayonet temples with rubber non-slip head grips plus a soft rubber nose piece to keep 'em where they're supposed to be.
