Tough and durable, these ESS CDI MAX sunglasses boast a large frame and thicker lenses. They’re a hardworking pair of sunglasses that meet U.S. military ballistic specifications (U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-31013 clause 3.5.1.1), as well as ANSI Z87.1-2010, U.S. Federal OSHA, CE EN 166 specifications for impact safety.
The extra-tough, 2.4mm polycarbonate lenses are some of the thickest of any sunglasses in the world. Featuring the ESS ToughZone anti-scratch lens coating, the lenses are protected from annoying and damaging scratches. To ensure premium visual quality, these ESS lenses are distortion-free and provide 100% UVA/UVB protection. And with an increased lens wrap, you’ll be more protected with greater peripheral vision than ever before.
Featuring the ESS Lateral Exchange System, these desert tan-colored sunglasses can adapt to your environment with a quick exchange of lenses. As your environment changes, simply exchange your lenses. In this kit you get two lenses--a pair of clear lenses (for use indoors or at night with no influence on contrast or color) and a pair of smoke gray lens (an all-purpose daytime lens for medium to bright light with unbiased influence on color).
