Working in the foundry makes for a hard day and these hard-wearing coveralls have you covered. The outer shell is flame-resistant, 7 ounce twill, 88% cotton/12% nylon, which is also water repellent. The flame-resistant insulation is 12 ounce, two-layer, Modacrylic, a soft and resilient fabric. If you're welding or flame cutting, burns are almost inevitable, but you can reduce your chances with these Bulwark CLC8 NV Men's Deluxe Insulated Flame-Resistant Coveralls since they have an arc rating of (Arc Thermal Protection Value) ATPV 43.3 calories/cm2.
These coveralls have a two-way, extra heavy duty Nomex taped brass zipper, concealed and snap secured. The two piece, insulated, stand-up collar also has a concealed snap closure. Knit Nomex storm cuffs are inside the hemmed sleeve ends with hook and loop suppression tabs. The roomy action back makes moving less restrictive. You'll be able to bend and lift without feeling like you're going to split the back out.
The elasticized waist inserts give you a cushion of room in case you ate too much for lunch. The reinforced double knees will keep the coveralls functional. Full Nomex tapered ankle-to-hip brass zippers with concealed snap closures. You won't have to worry about things coming undone. The inside zipper guards on all the zippers give added security.
These coveralls are great around chemicals, oil, gas, petro-chemical industries and electrical utilities. They are not recommended for use around molten white metals or in critical static control operations.
