The Carhartt Flame Resistant Lanyard Access Jacket is made from Carhartt FR brown duck 8.5-ounce canvas, a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon blend. The materials used for this Carhartt jacket meet or exceed NFPA 70E compliancy. This FR jacket is insulated with 6.75-ounce FR quilted material for warmth. The modacrylic batting is quilted to a twill-face cloth. The flapped back allows a lanyard to easily pass through and attach to a safety harness while the pleated bi-swing back gives you an excellent range of motion.
Do you like or need a lot of pockets? This Carhartt FR Jacket has two chest pockets with flaps and hook-and-loop closures. There are also two large lower outside pockets and two inside patch pockets with hook-and-loop closures.
Carhartt Clothing uses an inner Nomex rib-knit storm cuff and the outer cuff cinches securely with a hook-and-loop closure for a tight fit under work gloves. Nomex‘s thermal technology helps protect against the hazards associated with electric arcs and flash fires including intense heat and flame. The brass front zipper features Nomex tape plus inside and outside protective flaps with hook-and-loop closures for electric-arc protection. If you want a hood, there are under-collar snaps for the optional FR hood.
