They're appropriate for employment for many reasons. The flame-resistant fabric is a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon, made by Mount Vernon Mills. They also feature a brass zipper fly with Nomex zipper tape and an arc-resistant high-tension snap closure at the waist. Wearing these pants will allow you to do your duties with peace-of-mind, as they guard against flash-fires and electrical arc hazards. They are NFPS 70E compliant.
They have been made with other work-friendly features, like lots of pockets, including two on the back that have been reinforced, plus cell phone and utility pockets and a left hammer leg loop. The fit is good for jobsite comfort, too. The contoured waistband guards against gapping in back, and the seat and thighs offer a relaxed fit to accommodate lots of movement. Triple-stitched seams offer long-lasting wear, and the straight leg openings let you wear them over boots without looking like leggings.
