This Bulwark JLR8 NV Navy Fire-Resistant Outer Shell Jacket is resistant to fire, cold and water. . .what else ya got, Nature? The outer navy shell is made with flame-resistant 7 ounce twill. A blend of 88% cotton and 12% nylon creates a lightweight, breathable shell that bends and moves with your body. And despite how light and thin it is, the outer shell is water-repellent and tough against abrasions, plus it works to keep you warm in cold weather conditions.
Inside this FR jacket, 12 ounce insulation keeps you warm and snug. The two-layer, silver quilted modacrylic is tough in the washer and on your body. Pull the heavy-duty brass zipper of this Bulwark FR jacket closed to lock in your own natural warmth. Protected with Nomex tape to resist fraying and covered with a two-layer storm flap that blocks moisture, the zipper won't let in water or release your heat.
Even the stand-up collar is insulated to keep you warm. Snap-on hoods can be attached to the collar easily. The hemmed sleeves of this Bulwark jacket are made with knit construction to create a stretchy fit around your wrists. Even the waistband is elasticized and stretchy.
The deep-pleated action back gives you plenty of moving room. Speaking of room, this jacket has storage space to spare. The dual patch pockets have concealed snap flaps so you can keep your stuff inside safely, but they're big enough to double as hand warmers. An inside chest pocket adds extra space for your cell phone and other odds and ends. There are inside zipper guards on all the zippers, to add durability and cold protection.
