Bulwark Sweatshirts: Men's SNH2 NV Navy Blue Flame-Resistant Sweatshirt
Men who weld in the winter know that just because you work near fire, it doesn't mean you stay warm. When cold weather rolls around and you find yourself so cold you almost wish it were July again, it's time to buy some heavier work clothes. From Bulwark, the world's largest manufacturer of flame-resistant apparel, comes this Bulwark Men's SNH2 NV Navy Flame-Resistant Fleece Sweatshirt.
Flame-resistant fabrics allow you to work safely in high-risk work environments. This Bulwark sweatshirt features an arc protection rating of ATPV 13.8 calories/cm^2. ATPV means "Arc Thermal Protective Value." The number, in this case it's 13.8, is the minimum incident energy (calories per centimeter squared) that your protective wear can be exposed to and still prevent you from receiving second-degree burns. This flame-resistant sweatshirt is made of a mid-weight (9.4 ounce), knit Nomex Fleece (96% Nomex Aramid, 3% KevlarAramid, and 1% other fiber), so it provides a high level of safety. This navy blue sweatshirt has a two-ply hood with drawstring closure and rib-knit cuffs at the wrists, and the waist band provides added safety features for you.
Unlike some other types of flame-resistant clothing which are really only flame-resistant only because of a sprayed-on finish, this Bulwark sweatshirt is woven with flame-resistant fibers. That means it can be washed at home on your washing machine's light soil setting. Be sure you check the men's sweatshirt's pouch pocket before you throw it in there.
When you're on the job, the goal is to stay away from the flame. The next time you get to shivering at work and think it'd be a good idea to get just a little closer to the fire, don't. Get a Bulwark Men's SNH2 NV Navy Flame-Resistant Fleece Hooded Sweatshirt instead. It'll keep you toasty warm, not charred.

I needed something that was flame resistant and comfortable allowing me to bend, reach without the risk of my clothes catching on fire. This sweater I nearly wear daily to work, it is machine washable and highly durable. I was a little skeptical of the price when I initially purchased this pullover, but I have definitely got my use out of it and am looking to buy another one soon.
