It's not made in an unusual color -- navy pretty much fits in everywhere. Oh that's right -- it's flame-resistant, tough and made to give you protection when you're in danger. You can't always judge a sweatshirt by its exterior.
This sweatshirt is made to be roomy in the hood, shoulders, chest and sleeves, so you have plenty of space to perform your tasks. The hood is big enough to fit over a standard hard hat. The drawstring allows you to adjust the fit to make it closer or looser as needed.
Made with 14 ounce Reliant fabric, this hoodie is warm and safe. The Reliant fleece material is soft and comfortable. Waffle-weave lining provides warming insulation that traps your natural heat, so it stays with you.
The material has an Arc Rating/Ebt of 28 cal/cm2. It's a lot of math that says you'll be safe from sparks, flames and intense heat -- up to a point. In severe flame conditions, you'll still need to get out of danger quickly. But if you're welding or working around sparks and fiery danger, this navy sweatshirt will serve you well.
The zipper is fully covered with a flap that extends the flame-resistant material to every part of the shirt. Even the hook and loop closure at the neck is flame-resistant. Rib-knit, fray-resisting cuffs complete the design.
