TheseCarhartt Flame Resistant Duck Bib Overalls are made of a 13-ounce flame-resistant fabric known as INDURA Ultra Soft duck, a blend of 88% cotton for comfort and 12% high tenacity nylon for superior abrasion-resistance and durability. They are made for working in the most dangerous of work environments.
Designed with a high back with flame-resistant elastic suspenders, high-temperature nylon center-release buckles, and a chap-style double front for durability and increased thermal performance, this pair of overalls are not only designed for comfort but protection. Added for better functioning in your job are the multiple tool and utility pockets, a hammer loop, and zip-to-above-the- knee brass leg zippers. Because of its outstanding heat and flame-resistant properties, a technology from Dupont known as NOMEX is used in the zipper tape and protective flap, arc-resistant snap closure and flame- resistant melamine buttons at the waist.

The side buttons need to be attached with higher strength thread. As for the flame resistance, I hope I never find out. I will purchase another pair if these ever wear out.
