The helmet features auto-darkening technology which adjusts to the light of your work environment to keep you protected against IR radiation. The helmet adjusts from IR shades 9-13. Solar-powered with two light sensors, this helmet is easily operated with just 2 AA batteries. The Lead Head covers your neck, head, and face for complete protection. But, even though you'll be guarded from crown to collar bone, the helmet won't keep you from breathing freely. There's a respirator space at the front of the helmet and a special shake-down feature to minimize carbon-monoxide build-up inside your face space.
