One thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that it is a bit itchy. Although it is definitely soft (as advertised), it can be a bit scratchy, almost as if it was made out of wool or something more coarse.
Regardless of how it can itch, this Carhartt beanie is definitely worth the (low) price, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good beater beanie that they can just throw on whenever. Personally, I keep mine in my car - you never know when you'll need it!
