This is the Ergodyne 3-Layer Extreme Head Liner style number 6952.
The three layers in this head liner work together to keep you warm. The outside is 100% quilted nylon. It is treated for fire resistance but that is not valid after one washing so be sure to keep track of that if you plan to use this insulated hood in an FR environment. The middle layer is foam for insulation and the inside lining is 100% polyester sherpa for additional insulation. This Ergodyne head liner should reach to the end of your neck so all of your skin should be protected.
The Ergodyne N-Ferno 3-Layer Exterme Head Liner is intended to be worn in very cold temperatures (those of you in Florida that think it is cold when it is 75 degrees out should not buy this). Attached the Ergodyne 6952 insulated hood to your hard hat with the Velcro straps and use the Velcro closure under the chin for a custom fit and you will have a great barrier from the cold.
