The top things you can have on the job are your skills and your workwear. You take care of the skills, and Working Person's Store will take care of the workwear. When you need flame-resistant clothing, we recommend a pair of Berne Men's Stone-Washed Denim Flame-Resistant Jeans FRP07SWD.
Your safety matters and Berne takes that as seriously as you. Constructed of 100% cotton flame-resistant washed denim, these Berne pants will protect you from on-the-job hazards while keeping you comfortable. The material's a heavyweight 14 ounce denim that keeps you warm, and gives you excellent protection from flame. These fire-resistant pants meet the requirements of ASTM F1506, NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910.269 (l)(6)(iii).
These denim blue Berne FR jeans have a traditional, five-pocket construction and a relaxed cut that fits over most boots. To keep them sturdy, these work pants have reinforced bartacks on all stress points so you don't have to worry about them falling apart on you. That's just extra stitching on all the parts of the Berne jeans that carry lots of tension--the hips, pocket edges, and fly. Triple-needle stitched inseams and seat seams give you the added advantage of toughly-sewn seams that won't tear out easily. In fact, the fabric will rip before these seams give in. We all know FR jeans are not cheap, so why should the construction of them not hold up. Durability is something you can expect when you wear these Berne jeans.
Of course, the whole reason you want FR jeans like this is that they're flame resistant. Flame-resistant pants protect your skin from all sorts of fire and flame-related accidents. The zipper on these Berne FR jeans is designed to resist arcing since it has an FR brass fly. Thy jewels shall be protected.
Make sure you're safe on the job. Don't take chances with your safety equipment-- buy a pair of Berne Men's Stone Washed Denim Flame-Resistant Jeans FRP07 SWD.

These are some of the best and at cheaper price. My husbands first experience with FR clothing was horrible. The stitching came undone and the material disintegrated and in three months we had to throw them out. I found this brand at Tractor Supply, but they didn't have his size and this is where I found them. These jeans will hold up for a long time. The stitching is well done and the material thick so it won't wear holes in it very fast. Reinforced stitching around zippers, pockets help reinforce use wear areas. My husband loves them.

My husband bought these jeans for work, and immediately hated them. They were way to heavy and bulky that he just couldn't stand them from the get go. The price was ok so he went ahead and purchased it, but after a few tries and washes, he threw them out. Didn't even want to sell them to prevent further unhappiness lol.

These Berne jeans are a good value for the price. FR clothing can be very expensive and these are holding up well. I just ordered my husband's sixth pair. They are heavy duty with reinforced stitching. He would rather the heavier material these are made of because none of his pairs have ripped. Thinner jeans do not survive and FR is too expensive to keep replacing.
Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company.
I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North.
Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped.
Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
