It does a good job of blocking the wind when I'm out on the course and also doesn't get in the way when I'm actually playing. It fits a bit loose for me, which is actually a plus since it gives me better range of motion when swinging, however it also doesn't billow when I'm wearing it!
When not in use, this jacket rolls up very compactly and allows for easy storage in a bag or backpack. I would highly recommend this jacket!
